GoFigúir will be of value to its customers through various means. Primarily, it will enable retail businesses to send digital receipts to their customers via email or to a downloadable mobile application thus reducing the need to produce paper receipts (easily lost or damaged). The digital receipts will also reduce the effect on the environment which will satisfy customers who are environmentally conscious.

The option to send promotional offers to the retailer’s customers will also be of benefit as it will improve customer engagement and loyalty. The retailer’s customers will be able to download a mobile application which will have all the retailer’s information including opening hours, contact information, offers and a feature that will promote products that may appeal to customers’ tastes based on previous purchases.

Furthermore, retailers can opt to include a loyalty rewards scheme which will reward customers that demonstrate loyalty to the retailer. Potential rewards schemes include accumulating points per purchase, e.g., for every €10 spent the customer will receive one point which can be redeemed upon further purchases. Another option, which will be of particular benefit to food and beverage retailers will be a stamp scheme, which, upon the purchase of for example nine coffees, the customer will receive their tenth coffee free. The above-mentioned schemes will improve customer relations.
